Data assessment
We review data sources, data quality and business needs and prepare a modernisation plan.
Data platform build
A data lake or warehouse on Azure or AWS: Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks and other tools as needed.
Migration from legacy systems
We move data to the cloud without stopping operations, keeping access rights and compliance in place.
Data quality and governance
Data catalogue, lineage, classification and access control with Microsoft Purview.
Reports and dashboards
Interactive dashboards for leaders and teams, fitted to how they work and their data skills.
Ready for AI
Forecasting, anomaly detection and document analysis on the same data platform.
Data Platforms and Analytics
When every system calculates differently and a report takes days of spreadsheet work, the problem is not your people but your data architecture.
We assess where your data lives today: ERP, CRM, finance or production systems and spreadsheets. We design the target architecture and build a modern data platform on Azure or AWS, covering data ingestion, storage, cleansing and access control.
On top of it we build interactive reports and dashboards for the people who use them every day. The same platform becomes the foundation for AI, from forecasting to document analysis.
Why modernise your data platform
Find out how much time your team spends building reports by hand and what to automate first.
One source of truth
The same metrics for every department, without reconciling spreadsheets by hand.
Faster decisions
Reports refresh automatically instead of once a month.
Security and compliance
Access rights, encryption and audit logs from day one.
How a data platform project works
A clear process with no surprises: at every stage you know what is being done, who is responsible and when to expect results.
Assessment
Interviews with business and IT, review of data sources and quality, list of key metrics
Plan
Target architecture, tool selection, budget and phases
First result
One data domain and the first dashboard within weeks, so you see value early
Growth and operations
New data domains, user training and platform monitoring
Skaylink Group experience
The Skaylink Group data team builds and migrates data platforms on Azure and AWS. For the pension company PFA it built a new data platform, migrated the data and shut down the old on-premises system in 5 months.
We deliver projects in Lithuania together with the Group’s data specialists.
Questions our clients ask
What is the difference between a data lake and a data warehouse?
A data lake stores varied data, including raw data, while a warehouse stores structured data for reporting. Modern platforms often combine both.
Is a data platform worth it for a mid-sized company?
Yes. We start with one data domain and you pay only for the cloud resources you use, so the platform can grow step by step.
Azure or AWS – which should we choose?
It usually depends on your current environment: if you use Microsoft 365 and Azure, Azure is the natural choice; if your infrastructure is on AWS, choose AWS. We advise based on your situation.
Can you connect our finance and ERP systems?
Usually yes, through APIs, database connectors or file exports. We check each source during the assessment.
How long until the first result?
We usually deliver the first data domain and dashboard within a few weeks after the assessment.
Who runs the platform after go-live?
We can hand it over to your team with documentation and training, or run it as a managed service.
