Questions about DevOps careers
Do I need DevOps experience to apply?
No. The newcomer stage is for people with IT or cloud infrastructure experience who have not yet worked hands-on with DevOps, and internships are open to university and college students.
Which cloud platforms will I work with?
Mainly AWS and Azure, in client projects in Lithuania and Western Europe.
How fast can I grow to expert DevOps engineer?
The expert level typically requires around two years of professional experience and at least an Associate-level certificate. You earn at least one certification at each stage.
What is the working language?
In Lithuania we work with clients in Lithuanian and English. With colleagues from other Skaylink Group and Vodafone Group companies we speak English.
Can I work remotely or from abroad?
Onsite and remote engineers work the traditional way – from our offices across Lithuania. Service managers and system administrators can choose a hybrid work model.
