Amazon Web Services (AWS) has welcomed Skaylink to the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program. The decision followed a comprehensive audit by an independent third party, making Skaylink one of only six AWS partners headquartered in Germany with this validation.
What the MSP audit checks
The AWS MSP Partner Program is one of the most demanding quality validations in the AWS Partner Network. The audit covers operational processes, security, automation, customer success and the financial stability of the managed services organisation. It builds on Skaylink’s existing status as an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner.
Skaylink currently supports the AWS environments of more than 100 customers. Many of them operate in regulated sectors such as financial services, automotive, public administration and critical infrastructure.
What the managed services cover
- proactive operations with 24/7 monitoring and agreed response and recovery times;
- migration and modernisation of existing workloads, from lift-and-shift to containerised and serverless architectures;
- security and compliance in line with AWS best practice, NIS2 and industry requirements;
- continuous cost optimisation (FinOps) and automation of recurring operational tasks;
- data and AI platforms, including workloads on Amazon Bedrock, run as a managed service.
